PRESS RELEASE

October 20, 2000. Macon, Ga.

Drawbridge Marine Inc. announced today that the new home of "RAIDER" sailboats would be located in Sebastian, Florida. After a successful production startup period, we decided to move the facility closer to the coastal waters where continuous product development can take place" said company president John Drawe. We have dealers throughout the southeast.

The RAIDER sailboat can be single-handed in regattas or day-sailed by two or more. With a hull weight of 200 lbs. and a lightweight aluminum or optional carbon fiber spar (mast raising photo's) the RAIDER can be easily and quickly (15 minutes) ramp or beach launched. The hull features Ronstan, Harken and other fine quality hardware and a built in 16-qt. cooler. "We have created a light weight extremely stable hull design that is easily sailed to high performance numbers even by relative novices", said the RAIDER's designer Drawe. Hull speeds in the low teens are regularly recorded in breezes under twenty knots.

Two models are now offered, the "RAIDER 16" with 108 sq. ft. of sail area and the "RAIDER SPORT" one design with 123 sq. ft. Both models feature a high aspect aluminum dagger board and kick up rudder. There is an asymmetrical spinnaker option available for the "Sport" model. The hand laminated bi-axial "e" glass hull has distinctive styling and molded no-skid texture on deck and critical crew areas. The cockpit was designed for maximum comfort and sail control. Sail development was done by Waters Sail Loft in Columbia S.C. The hull development of the "RAIDER" design was done utilizing CATIA 3D software.

The suggested sail away price for the RAIDER 16 is $4995. The RAIDER SPORT with a larger rig, carbon spar and all lines led aft is $5795.
